Title:(Non-) Standard neutrino oscillations: Days of Future Past

Abstract: “Abstract: Standard Neutrino oscillations, in the three active neutrino paradigm, successfully account for the observed neutrino flavor transitions. Approved and funded next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments are expected to measure the ‘known unknowns’ i.e. to stablish whether there is CP-violation in the lepton sector and the correct mass ordering, and to improve the precision of the already measured mixing angles. However, in parallel to this so call ‘standard neutrino program’, given the expected improvement in precision, different well motivated – some long-standing-, beyond standard model scenarios could emerge as subleading effects on top of the standard oscillations. How do signals of non-standard oscillations appear in neutrino detectors? In this talk, we give examples of efforts that answer this question”.
