Título: Effective description of a composite Higgs

Abstract: A very attractive framework to obtain a naturally light Higgs is to consider it as a composite pseudo-Goldstone boson of a new strongly interacting sector. I will review different aspects of this idea, such as the minimal model, extended scalar sectors, dynamical symmetry breaking, flavor and collider phenomenology. I will consider an effective description of this composite Higgs in terms of theories of resonances, both from warped extra dimensions as well as from effective moose models.
