Title: “Gearing up to close the book on WIMP dark matter”
Abstract: I will describe the next steps in the exploration of the idea of WIMPs as dark matter, drawing a timeline for direct detection, indirect detection and collider searches. I will argue that thanks to forthcoming and envisioned experiments we can for the first time anticipate reaching up to the high end of the mass range for thermally produced wimps at about 100 TeV WIMP mass.
