COLOQUIO: Pushing the Primordial Frontier: Cosmological collider signatures at strong-mixing

Agosto 13 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Abstract: The early Universe can be viewed as a cosmological collider, where particles interacted at energies far beyond the reach of terrestrial experiments and left traces in the primordial fluctuations. In this talk, I will present exact analytic solutions for two-field inflationary systems in which the curvature perturbation is coupled to an isocurvature field of arbitrary mass and interaction strength. These solutions provide analytic control over strongly coupled regimes, often associated with rapid-turn inflation, that are otherwise difficult to study. I will show how they lead to a closed-form power spectrum that smoothly connects weak and strong coupling and light- and heavy-field regimes, and how the framework extends to the bispectrum, opening the way to systematic studies of non-Gaussianity, particle production, and quantum loop effects in the early Universe.
