Title:   “Understanding the first observation of B→Kνν by Belle-II”

Abstract:

Recently, the Belle-II experiment reported on the first measurement of B(B→Kνν), which appears to be almost 3σ larger than predicted in the Standard Model (SM). In this talk, I will critically revisit the status of these SM predictions and discuss the opportunities to observe New Physics effects in these decays.
